With a top location in Düsseldorf Golzheim – in the heart of Kennedydamm and just a stone’s throw away from the Rhine, the NEW HEART on the block is winning everyone’s heart and making the city’s pulse race. In the first step, the state capital of Düsseldorf and die developer held a two-stage architecture competition with an internationally renowned group of participants.
The objective is to establish an urban development ensemble as the “new heart” of the northern Düsseldorf city centre that takes into account and integrates existing pathways. With its wide range of uses, the NEW HEART on the block meets the needs of an urban and sustainable city and creates a unique offer – not only for the users of the project, but also for the neighbourhood and the city as a whole.
After all, people make the city – that’s why the NEW HEART on the Block is giving the best back to the city’s people. Together in one place – in the middle of Düsseldorf.
